Dojunim Kim Sou Bong

Philosophy
Hapkido is the Korean art of unarmed self-defense. Martial art is not a competitive sport, and self-defense is not a privilege but a right.
Teaching method
Dojunim Kim Sou Bong developed a teaching system tailored specifically to each student's abilities and needs. The self-defense technique and its application are not the only focus. Complex exercise and movement forms, together with targeted gymnastics adapted to the individual student, strengthen both mental and physical constitution. The course of the training and the goal of each exercise are agreed individually, in dialogue with qualified instructors.
Recognising your own capabilities, and not acting aggressively out of fear in a stressful situation, is a defining characteristic. The Hapkido student grows into a balanced personality with the strength needed, but also with the sensitivity, to hold their own in society. Consideration, respect and tolerance are the basis for learning Hapkido. Martial art cannot be consumed – it wants to be lived.
The HapKiDo Club Leibnitz offers self-defense in Leibnitz.
