Dojo / training room

"Dojo" means a sacred place where martial arts are taught (and practised), and also a place of meditation. The spot under the Bodhi tree where the Buddha sat and reached enlightenment is called bodhimaṇḍa in Sanskrit, "place of enlightenment". The equivalent is daochang in Chinese, dōjō in Japanese and toryang in Korean. In Japanese, 道場 dojo means "place of the way".

Our dojo is in the basement of Volksschule Linden in Leibnitz (southern Styria, Austria) and it is the place where we draw strength and energy. When we step into the dojo, we enter another world – a temple of respect and companionship.
